Neeraj has pioneered the genre known as Kabir Rock. It is a venture where they strive to present the great Kabir's poetry in a musically interesting fashion, without compromising its lyrical beauty. Neeraj Arya's relentless research for years in understanding and performing Kabir's verses is the backbone behind Kabir Cafe. They are largely influenced by the renowned Kabir folk singer Prahlad Tippaniya, who is a Padmashri winner.
