Sirshaa Rakshit is a professional singer based out of Kolkata, West Bengal. She began singing only at the age of three. When she was six years old, she became a regular artist of All India Radio and various TV channels. She released her first audio cassette of charar gaan named Baap Hoeche Daddy R Maa Hoeche Mummy at the age of nine only. Following year, some other Rabindra Sangeet casettes were released by her. Sirshaa participated regurarly in a programme, Chelebela, of Kolkata Doordarshan and continued upto 10 years. She ranked every year as first and second in either mordern song, or Nazrul Geeti or Rabindra Sangeet competitions. Along with singing, she also learnt classical kathak dance(Lucknow Gharana) from Manjulika RoyChowdhury, Purabi Kar, Srilekha Mukjerjee and Silpi Mukherjee
